Goodbye my Man Sicily! Obinna Offor , I could not help but shed tears when I heard that you have gone. I could not hold back the pain and tears when I think about the memories and things we have done together in the past. You are known to all of us “your friends” as Sicily during the University days. A jovial young man full of life and always aspire to get to the greatest height in life. I still remembered our last conversation about Chelsea Vs Mancity game but I didn’t realize that you are not going to be around to watch the game. I tried to search for reasons why it have to come like this especially now you had young family with less than one year old child which you will not be around to celebrate his first birthday. Since I heard about your death, I have been devastated and shocked. Tears still welled up as I tried to hold them back. I know it will not be easy to say final goodbye but God knows best. I have had many friends in my life and many have come and gone but yours is different. We haven’t seen each other for some time now but we speak on the phone everyday. I still remembered some of your slangs in Igbo, “Afukwana ihe mere na shiroro kaiiii!!! (Meaning: No see what happened in Shiroro, Kaiii!!), and how you always call me “Mgbokomgbo ”. Sicopo (as I call you), “Jee nke oma,Chukwu anabatago obi gi (go well, God have accepted your soul)”. I am happy that you gave your life to Christ, So am sure you are resting in the bosom of the lord in heaven. You are one of a kind and we will miss you very much.
